The mind and body are not separate. What affects one, affects the other. It’s important to take care of both your physical and mental health for optimal well-being. September is „Self-awareness month”. Self-awareness is vital for mental health and wellbeing, for when we know, truly know, who we are, we can shape our life. It means that we all have a whole month devoted to ourselves.
I assume that most of you are into a physical activity and I don’t need to convince you to exercise. What I want to highlight in September is a mental awareness. The „30 day Fitness & Mental Challenge” is aimed to combine physical and mental aspects of health-related quality of life. The 30-day challenge consists two parts:
- Physical exercises – different plank types (every week involves 6 active days and 1 rest day – Sunday)
- Mental tasks – every day presents a different mental task (30 days)

- Desire to join the challenge!

I want to encourage you to create a training diary and write-down your results, thoughts, emotional states etc. A training diary is one of the best tools you can use if your goals are to improve. Performance trends and patterns that cannot be seen by observing one day at a time become clear in a diary.
