She opened her first studio in Birmingham, MI in 2001. But since 2009 Barre has exploded in popularity, due to its extremely effective technique. I had a positive attitude since I heard about this training for the first time. Combination of ballet and yoga? It sounds good. I&#8217;m a yoga lover and adding elements of ballet to my workout was a wonderful idea. I&#8217;m also a flamenco dancer, so I thought that could improve my body posture. When I&#8217;m thinking about ballet I see slim ballet dancers with perfectly straight backs. I was really surprised after first Barre workout&#8230; I was covered in sweat and realized that this exercises affects my legs in a good way. Exercises taken from ballet strengthen leg muscles and increase their force. We practise similar exercises in flamenco classes, when we want to strengthen calves, which improves our steps technique. Workout with barre or chair (if we work out at home) didn&#8217;t disappoint me. During the exercise we have to focus on good balance, straight posture and squeeze belly muscles which helps us improve our body posture.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">I liked Barre workout very much. This kind of exercises fits me perfectly. I feel more comfortable in Barre than chaotic Zumba and I&#8217;m going to repeat this workout very often. Luckily for us the fitness world offers us a wide range of options and everyone can find something good for them, what is the most convenient. Latest trends like Zumba, trampolines and Crossfit revolutionized fitness trade. It strengthens muscles and increases flexibility. Over a dozen workouts you can notice weight loss, because of speeding up metabolism. It also reduced the level of stress. I think it&#8217;s due to yoga elements. The additional advantage is that women at just about any fitness level can sign up for a class. It&#8217;s perfect for beginners and more advanced people. Fitness experts recommend Barre as a safe exercise for pregnant women. Barre is a cardio workout which does not strain your joints.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><b>What does Barre class look like?<\/b><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">Barre is a dynamic workout and most classes are 60 minutes long. We start with a warm-up. We engage upper parts of body, exercises include free weights, push-ups, planks . We exercise biceps, triceps, chest, and back muscles. Next, we use the ballet barre or chair. We work out with your own body weight, focus on the balance and leg muscles. At the end, we cool down by stretching with elements of yoga, it improves our flexibility allows your muscles to recover.
