Choosing this career path was no coincidence, as the work I do is also my passion. My goal is to support people in better understanding themselves, improving their quality of life, and building resources that help them cope with everyday challenges. In my practice, I combine psychological knowledge with experience in working with both people and animals, offering support in three complementary areas.

The first area is psychological consultations. I work with individuals who experience emotional difficulties, go through life crises, or simply need a conversation and professional guidance to sort out their thoughts and emotions. I provide support in coping with stress, anxiety, low mood, or burnout, and I accompany people in building self-esteem, confidence, and healthy relationships with others. I also hold a specialization in addiction psychology and have professional experience working with people struggling with addictions as well as their families and loved ones. I have worked, among others, at the MONAR rehabilitation center, in the detoxification ward of a Psychiatric Hospital, and at the Municipal Center for Addiction Prevention and Therapy, which has allowed me to gain extensive practice and knowledge in the field of addiction therapy. My priority is to create a safe space where everyone can feel heard and understood.

The second area is sport psychology. I collaborate with athletes, coaches, and physically active individuals who want to improve their performance, achieve their goals, and unlock their full potential. I help strengthen mental resilience, motivation, and focus, as well as teach strategies for coping with performance pressure and competition-related stress. In my work, I use mental training tools and relaxation techniques that not only support sports development but also have a positive impact on other areas of life. My aim is not only to help achieve success but also to show how sport can be a source of satisfaction, health, and fulfillment.

The third area of my work focuses on the human–dog relationship. As a psychologist and specialist in this field, I help dog guardians better understand their pet’s psychological and emotional needs, build a conscious bond based on trust, and develop effective cooperation in everyday life as well as in sports activities. I support both those who simply want to improve their quality of life with their dog and those who participate in disciplines such as agility, frisbee, flyball, or obedience. Working on communication and the relationship with a dog is important not only for achieving better results but also for the well-being of both the person and the animal.

WHO AM I?

My name is Victoria Adrianna Dzietowiecka and I am a certified psychologist with extensive academic and practical experience in contact with the client. My specialty is sports psychology and mental training, which I successfully transfer to work with a business client, personal coaching, mentoring and personal skills training. Practice gained in international environment, in USA and Spain, allows me better understanding the cultural differences and specificity of human behavior.

I approach each client individually in order to be able to understand his expectations and then jointly define the goals of our cooperation.

I work both in Polish and English.

psychological consultations

crisis support

psychological help and support

addiction and co-addiction psychology

sport psychology

mental training

sport psychology in dog sports

building and improving the human–dog relationship

psychology in business

child and adolescent psychology

educational psychology

Education:

(2012 – 2017) Master of Psychology – University of Gdańsk

(2019) English Intensive Course – University of California, Los Angeles

(2019) Psicología de la Salud y del Deporte – Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona

(2021 – 2022) Graduade studies: Sport Psychology – University of Gdańsk

(2025 – 2026) Graduate studies: Zoopsychology – Wyższa Szkoła Kształcenia Zawodowego

Courses:

(2025) Seminar: Supporting the therapy of behavioral disorders in dogs and cats – PAZiA

(2025) Seminar: Working with a shelter dog and the role of a behaviorist in the shelter – PAZiA

(2025) Seminar: Human emotions in the lives of dogs and cats – through the eyes of a psychologist – PAZiA

(2025) Seminar: Nosework in building a dog’s confidence – PAZiA

(2025) Seminar: Separation Anxiety Disorder in Dogs in a Nutshell – PAZiA

(2025) Seminar: DogFitness – Core Strengthening Exercises – PAZiA

(2024) Obsession with Objects in a Sport-Behavioral Approach

(2024) Mental Health of Children, Adolescents, and Adults: Effective Crisis Support

(2023) Sports Tomorrow Congress 2023 – Barca Innovation Hub

(2023) First Meeting with a Patient – How to Conduct a Good Consultation?

(2020) Going Digital: Online Consulting for Mental Performance – Association for Applied Sport Psychology

(2020) Tools for Professionals in Sport During BLM & COVID – Association for Applied Sport Psychology

(2020) Why, What, When, and How: Using Technology in Applied Sport Psychology Practice – Association for Applied Sport Psychology

(2020) Psychology of Tactical Briefing – Insights from the Locker Room

Helping others has always brought me great joy.
