It comes that time every year when the attention of the world focuses on the Hollywood. At the beginning of the year the capital of the film industry lives the Oscars Gala. That ceremony attracts thousands of actors, film producers, people related to the film production and a large live audience. Not only the film stars but every one who participate in Oscars party starts to preparing for that night many months before. It is one of the most important nights for many actresses and actors. Everyone wants to look their best!
Last year I also had an opportunity to be a part of that famous and hot event. I remember that all the city lived of Oscars and talked mostly about it. Hairdressers and beauty salons were booked in advance and the boutique shops with an elegant gown dresses were full of people. I was lucky when three weeks before the gala I scheduled the appointment in the beauty salon. Fortunately, I chose my Oscars’ dress in advance and I brought it from Poland. A little black dress from La Mania fit the best for the occasion like that. I never forget that night when first time I was able to see inside of the famous Dolby Theatre and enjoy the After Oscars Show with Kelly and Rayan. Me and my friend finished our Oscars party at 7:30 am and directly from the Hollywood we went to morning class at UCLA. I felt like Cindyrella after an important ball.
As I mention before everybody wants to look great that night. I wanna share some tips which could help you to shine, be in shape and feel good. Remember that you should always have a healthy habits. It should be your lifestyle, not a short-time fashion. There’s no shortcuts! Tips that I present you could help but it will be good if you’ll be keeping it going the whole year
1. Sleep well! I think it is one of the most important points at our list. Your body needs a regeneration. After whole day is good to take a good sleep quality like 7-9 hours. It is up to you how many hours you need for regeneration. Check what works the best for you but keep in mind that the best quality of sleep is between 10 pm and 6 am. The research shows that „Every hour of sleep before midnight is worth two after midnight”. Dr Matt Walker from the University of California, Berkeley says that your sleep quality does change as the night wears on. “The time of night when you sleep makes a significant difference in terms of the structure and quality of your sleep (…) Your slumber is composed of a series of 90-minute cycles”. I found an information that it’s good to keep at least 5 cycles that gives you 7,5 hours of sleeping. You can check it and let me know if it fits for you!
2. Stayed hydrated! It’s sooo important if you wanna stay healthy, keep your body in good condition and have a lot of energy. Your body needs water to work properly. Water should be a priority! When you are dehydrated is easy to mistaking hunger to thirst. In the effect you eat more and it causes a weight-gain. If staying hydrated is difficult for you, keep the bottle of water always with you. There’s also some application which can remind you to drink water.
3. Workout regularly! Stay active because it gives you more energy and keeps the body in good shape. Furthermore, your body will be stronger and healthier. Remember that every movement is as good as exercise or even better. When you don’t have a time to train, try to move a lot of during the day. This helps you to get your endorphins up, improve your mood, and help you regulate your cravings better.
4. Last minute preparation: relax! Stress is one of the major factors that could make weight loss more difficult. Keep a clear head, find some time for yourself and calm down. You can go for the massage before the big event. It reduces levels of stress hormones: cortisol and adrenaline. In addition, it increases positive hormones like serotonin and dopamine. Massage could help to increase relaxation and good blood circulation.
